Burning a CD means that you can try Ubuntu without affecting your current system. And you can install it alongside or instead of your system whenever you're ready.
After downloading your iso image file, you are now ready to install it. You just need a cd to burn the iso image file, if you are using windows 7, you may refer to the following images:
1. Right-click on an ISO image and choose 'Open with > Windows Disc Image Burner'.
2. Select a disk burner (drive) and choose 'Burn'. If you check 'Verify disc after burning', it will confirm that the ISO image has been burned correctly.
